VWAP

Volume-weighted average price — the session's fair value; price above it favors buyers, below it sellers.

PriceVWAP

How to read it

VWAP is the average price weighted by volume since the session start — where the bulk of the day's trading actually changed hands. Price above VWAP means buyers are in control on the session; below, sellers. It resets each new session (dashed line).

Trading signals

Traders treat VWAP as an intraday fair-value line: pullbacks to VWAP in an uptrend can be entries, and it often acts as support/resistance. A decisive move from one side to the other signals a shift in who's in control for the session.

Parameters

VWAP Session Reset Period (Bars) controls how often VWAP restarts its accumulation — matching it to the instrument's real session keeps the line meaningful.

VWAP Session Reset Period (Bars)
